DRIVER'S INTERVENTION PROGRAM (DIP) (72-Hour Program)

Certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services
Held every four weeks - Thursday 6:00 p.m. through Sunday 6:00 p.m.
Location: 100 Hospital Drive, Athens, Ohio 740-592-6720
Fees: $325.00 (cash, money order, certified check, credit
card (MC, VISA)). Participants must register and pay in full prior to
the program. Fees cover all program costs including lodging, meals,
refreshments, and individual screening. Medical Card payment an option.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING
Held on Fridays of scheduled DIP programs 8:00 a.m. - 5:00
p.m.
Register at Health Recovery Services at 100 Hospital Drive, Athens,
Ohio or at Hocking County Outpatient Services, 375 West Front Street,
Logan, Ohio, phone: 740-385-9895.
Cost $85.00 - must be paid prior to start of program (cash, money order, certified check)
For those with 2-11 points on their driving record, this will give a two-point credit reduction toward their driving record.
12 points - (the maximum limit allowed) on driving record.
This will give a two-point credit reduction and allow for driving
privileges to be restored (if all other requirements are met)
License revoked due to high BAC while under age 21 - this will allow for retaining or the returning of license.
