Rural Women's Recovery Program

Nationally recognized, The Rural Women's Recovery Program offers mental health, alcohol, and other drug treatment in a safe and supportive residential setting. The 16-bed facility is located in the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio - a peaceful and therapeutic setting that allows women to begin the road to recovery. Athens Alternative Education Program

AAEP affords Athens City & County youth a strength-based, alternative education program that is staffed by a multi-disciplinary professional team, credentialed to holistically address all six life domains: educational & vocational, medical & substance abuse, emotional & psychological, social recreational & peers, legal & offense specific behavior, and family relationship & safety & residence. Department of Community Services

The mission of the Division of Community Services (DCS) is to prevent the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs by providing effective, research based programs to the public and working in an advocacy role to foster attitudes supportive of healthy lifestyle choices in the communities which we serve. The staff of DCS is comprised of Certified Prevention Specialists, Registered Candidates and Registered Applicants for Certification who have repeatedly been recognized for excellent service.
